Place the buckle in a location easily accessible, take the loose end of strap and wrap it around the cargo.

Push cam lever (release trigger) down. Insert loose end of strap from bottom side of buckle and push webbing upward out the top.

Grab the loose end of the strap from top of buckle and pull to the desire tension (tightness).
